The Detector

CCM is located downstream from a neutrino beam produced by pion decay at rest. The detector is a liquid argon detector that utilizes 200 PMTs, 100 of which are coated in wavelength-shifting foils, to detect both scintillation and Cherenkov light produced by interacactions in the liquid argon.
